Edwards accepted to OU Dentistry Class (Ada Evening News)
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about what impact my family has had upon my education. Everyone in my family, especially my mother, illustrated good morals and self-control. However, our family had a lot of dysfunction (like most families. I dare say) and even though my parents were good moral, God-fearing people, they sometimes had actions that were quite the opposite.
Edwards accepted to OU Dentistry Class (Ada Evening News)
ADA — Benajmin F. Edwards III “Trey”, Ada, has been accepted to the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry Class of 2011. Fifty-eight students were admitted into the Doctor of Dental Surgery program out of 650 applicants, the largest applicant pool in the history of the dental school. Edwards received his white coat and took the dental school oath during a recent ceremony at the OUCOD.

Gwendolyn Lacy, 78 (Redlands Daily Facts)
Gwendolyn Juneve Gepford Lacy, a former resident of Loma Linda and author of three books and many poems, died of Parkinson's disease July 17 in Tucson, Ariz. She was 78.
