An historic exchange of gifts took place Monday in the Lee Roberson Center on the campus of Tennessee Temple University. WDYN Radio presented a $7,200 check to the Lee Roberson Foundation, and the foundation in turn gave a check for $8,200 to the university founded by Dr. Roberson in 1946.

Three deans start new beginnings at University (The Red and Black)

The Terry College of Business, the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources all selected new leaders. The Terry College of Business' dean began his work at the University July 1.

Some degree programs, such as medical related programs require students to complete certain hours of lab works before that can pass for a degree. Those universities that offer courses that require lab work or practical training will either have a special arrangement with the local organization for students to complete their course work locally or the students is required to travel for a short period of time to the university for the purpose.
