USC mid-day report: Trojans, BC reach agreement (Orange County Register)
LOS ANGELES -- The USC football team has agreed to play Boston College in 2013 and 2014, the Boston Herald reported today. The Trojans will play BC in Los Angeles in 2013 and in Boston the following season, BC athletic director Gene DeFilippo told the newspaper.

Review at Hall of Fame (Athens Review)
Jim and Charlotte Owens took the Athens Daily Review with them to Canton, Ohio, this past weekend for Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. They were there as guests for the enshrinement of former Detroit Lions tight end Charlie Sanders. Owens, a former head football coach at Henderson County Junior College, and Sanders worked together as scouts in the Lions organization.
