Bank scam number used before (Daily Press)

The phone number used to target Old Point customers was used to scam customers of an Oregon credit union. The phone number someone used to try stealing credit card numbers from Old Point National Bank customers on Saturday has long been linked to fraudulent activity, and was used in another scam over the weekend targeting customers of an Oregon credit union.

And, don't expect these cards to help build your credit like a credit card for bad credit customers. Although the companies that issue advance-fee credit cards may claim to report to credit bureaus, quite often they do not. If you have had credit problems in the past, you may also instead want to consider a prepaid debit card.
