FIRCA debt reduction plan
The Multilateral Debt Relief Initiative (MDRI) is an extension of HIPC. The MDRI was agreed following the G8's Gleneagles meeting in July 2005. It offers 100% cancellation of multilateral debts owed by HIPC countries to the World Bank, IMF and African Development Bank.

Think about it... how many times have you received an offer from a bank and/or credit card company in the mail? Probably more times than you can count. In fact, they're even popping up in our email on a daily basis. Credit issuers are literally spamming their customers, and those they hope to be their customers, with "special offers" on a continuous basis.
